Therapeutic laser to treat pain

Using a therapeutic laser to treat pain and inflammation is one of the fastest, most effective modalities therapists have.  Thereby a patient’s need for potentially addictive medications is reduced.  Laser therapy can reduce swelling, pain, and inflammation in such conditions as:

  • low back pain
  • shoulder pain
  • knee pain
  • foot pain
  • arthritis
  • tendinitis
  • spinal pain
  • other soft tissue injuries
Knee laser therapy treatment

The Epoch-980 therapeutic laser heals on a cellular level. Therefore, patients experience less chronic inflammation as the laser reduces compounds related to pain and inflammation. At the same time, healing and new tissue generation are stimulated.

The difference

The Epoch-980 high power therapeutic laser differs from other laser therapy products, such as cold lasers.  For example, cold lasers utilize a low power and small spot size. While sometimes effective, the time, the number and frequency of treatments are higher.  Contrary to the Epoch-980, some products claiming to be high power may not be.  For instance, they employ tactics using different wavelengths and adding lower power levels to create a higher power.  However, that is not how to achieve a truly high power laser.

The high power in the Epoch-980 is derived from its’ built-in technology. The Epoch-980 uses a well-researched wavelength which promotes healing by its ability to penetrate and interact with tissue in the body.
